ISLE OF MAN RAILWAYS
South by Steam
Opened in 1874, this narrow gauge railway still runs with its original locomotives and carriages, through an ever changing landscape, to a choice of destinations in the South of the Island.
North by Electric
Step aboard your tram car at the Manx Electric Railway terminus at Douglas (known as Derby Castle) situated at the northern end of Douglas promenade, sit back and relax as the spectacular Manx countryside passes slowly by.
Thursday 26th August - Late night steam train
Enjoy a late night steam train to Castletown the historic old capital of the Isle of Man, with its narrow streets, small fishing cottages and pubs. The medieval Castle Rushen, once the home of kings will also be staying open until 21:15

Wednesday 25th August - Late night tram
If heading North, then a Late night tram from Douglas to Laxey, or the Snaefell summit provides the opportunity for breathtaking coastal scenery and sunset views.
Tram departs Derby Castle at 17:40, 19:10, and 20:45
Tram arrives Laxey at 18:10, 19:40, 21:15
Tram arrives Snaefell summit at 16:45 and 20:15
Wednesday 25th August - Snaefell Sunset Dinners
All aboard for a unique dining experience, dinner at the summit of Snaefell Mountain.
Tram departs Douglas at 17:40 to arrive at the summit for 18:45, dinner is served at 19:00 where once you have enjoyed your delicious three courses, you can take in wonderful sunset views from the only place in the British Isles where you can see England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales just by turning around. £25 per person, tram ride included.
